Child Welfare Policy

It is part of the club constitution that we intend to abide by the ECB ‘Safe Hands – Welfare of Young People in Cricket' policy. T his means we are committed to ensuring that all young people who play cricket have a safe and positive experience. We have developed and implemented policies and procedures which ensure that everyone knows and accepts their responsibility in relation to a duty of care for young people. We are also committed to promoting good practice and sound recruitment procedures for all individuals working within junior cricket. While it is not the responsibility of those individuals working with juniors to determine if there is a welfare issue - it is our responsibility to act upon and report any concerns. For more information on the ‘safe hands' policy, visit www.ecb.co.uk .

All club members have a responsibility to oppose discriminatory behaviour and promote equality of opportunity. The club will deal with any incidence of discriminatory behaviour seriously
